The following 22 units will be required for graduation with a high school diploma for students.

End of course examinations will be given in English I, English II, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, U.S. History, and Biology I. The final exam grade will count 25% of the student’s final grade in the courses taken.
Students will take the ACT test in the 11th grade.
Students may graduate with distinction if they attain a "B" average or above and complete at least one of the following:
Earn nationally recognized industry certification
Attend a Governor’s School
Participate in one of the Tennessee All State musical organizations
Selected as a National Merit Finalist or Semi-finalist
Score a 31 or higher composite ACT score
Earn 12 or more hours of college credit
Students who score at or above the benchmarks on the ACT test or the equivalent on the SAT test will graduate with honors. The ACT benchmark scores are as follows: English score 18, Math score 22, Reading score 22 and Science score 23.
